Following an application process and its respective preparation, the DIGITAL TER-X 2050 initiative, which has been developed by the Gaia-X hubs in Portugal, France and Finland and the Building Smart chapters in the same countries, was recognized by the Gaia-X Data Spaces Business Committee at a meeting on February 22, with Qualified Project status. This is the first step in consolidating the initiative within the Gaia-X community, and it is now easier to integrate the work with all the new specifications and developments in the Gaia-X principles.
At this stage, DIGITAL TER-X 2050 is the only existing project in the construction sector that aims to link the standards that support the construction industry, especially BIM - Building Information Modelling, and the Gaia-X Trust Framework, with the aim of leveraging effective data sharing throughout the construction process, in a safe and sovereign manner.
