2nd GXDCH Information Call
On May 7th, the second session of information sharing was held on the process of setting up instances of Gaia-X Digital Clearing Houses (GXDCH), and on the GXDCH already in operation or in preparation.
The association itself does not constitute itself as a service provider, leaving it to its members, who so wish, to apply to be GXDCH providers.
The GXDCH is the verification node of the Gaia-X rules and, consequently, the point of obtaining the certificate of trust that each member of a Gaia-X ecosystem can then use to relate to all the other members of that ecosystem.
During this session, aspects were addressed that covered a general introduction, its use and what are the advantages of using a GXDCH. All of this focusing on how to receive a Verifiable Credential and how to make a compliant service very relevant to projects and organizations. There was still time for a demonstration.
In the end, the different GXDCH service offerings by the current suppliers, T-Systems, Aruba and Aire Networks, were presented, and more than 10 new GXDCH are in the application phase.
The idea that there could be at least one commercial GXDCH in each country was also put forward.
