CONNECT5 - technical visit to Umbelino Monteiro

Following a first contact and remote meeting, the CONNECT5 visited Umbelino Monteiro, a tile and accessories production unit located in Meirinhas, near Pombal, on January 17th.

The CONNECT5 team, made up of elements from TICE.PT, IPL and UC, was received by the company's technical manager, Eng. Pedro Valente, who presented the production process, consisting of three main manufacturing lines and the most pressing and priority digitalization challenges felt by the company.

The team CONNECT5 was left to analyse the information received and prepare a work proposal within the scope of its mission.
