Silicon Eurocluster project meeting in Saint-Etienne, France
On 12th and 13th March, a meeting of the Silicon Eurocluster consortium took place in Saint-Etienne. This was one of the consortium's periodic face-to-face meetings (typically one per year). This meeting was planned to coincide with the annual event of the Minalogic Cluster - Minalogic Business Days, which took place on March 14th in Saint-Etienne, one of the bases of this Cluster operating in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
The Silicon Eurocluster project aims to promote the conditions for SMEs in the European Electronics value chain to implement digital technologies and environmentally sustainable solutions, remain resilient and interconnected (namely through collaborative networks) in order to face possible emergencies and economic crises. At this meeting, an update was made on the ongoing work, namely the 12 collaborative projects resulting from the FSTP mechanism managed by the project and which supports a total of 25 SMEs, and the ongoing Open Call to support the green transition of SMEs in the sector's value chain.
At the end of the last day of the meeting, the participants had the opportunity to integrate the visits to technology companies in the region, integrated in the activities of the Minalogic Business Days event.
